Access statement for sands caravan ingoldmells skegness
Introduction
We strive to ensure that all visitors can enjoy their stay in our caravan.
Our aim is to assist you in any way possible and if you require assistance
whilst planning your stay, or while you are actually staying in our caravan,
we will be pleased to help you.
Pre-Arrival
We have an easily accessible website and the literature we send to each
visitor is clear and concise.
A copy of this access statement can be posted to anyone on request.
Visitors can contact us by telephone and / or email.
Main Entrance & Reception
Access to the site office is directly at the site entrance off Sea Lane.
There are no steps.
The office doorway has ample access for a wheelchair.
There is all kinds of information about surrounding areas, in the form of
leaflets and brochures.
The staff in the office are very helpful.
There are parking bays outside the site office for use while in the office.
Public areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
Being a caravan there are no stairs, halls or landings.
There are, however, three steps up to the caravan door from the outside.
Public Areas - Lounge, Bedrooms etc
All rooms, except the kitchen area, are fully carpeted.
There is one rug in the lounge area.
The caravan has a shower / wash room and a separate toilet.
There are three bedrooms, one double and two twin rooms.
One of the twin rooms can also act as a double.
The lounge area is equipped with a radio and a TV.
The TV is digital and has subtitle facility.
The caravan is also equipped with a travel cot and a child's bed guard.
Public WCs
The Kingfisher Caravan Park does not have public shower rooms or toilets.
Restaurants, Take Aways, Cafes & Bars
Although there are no establishments on the caravan park, there are many
restaurants, bars, cafes & fast food outlets nearby.
Laundry
There is a well equipped laundrette on the Kingfisher Caravan Park.
Shop
There is a mini supermarket on the Kingfisher Caravan Park.
Many other shops and markets are close by.
Grounds & Gardens
The Kingfisher Caravan Park is maintained by East Lindsey Council to a high
standard.
Additional Information
The nearest public pay phone is by the entrance to the caravan park.
Assistance dogs are welcome.

Being a caravan there are no future alterations planned.
